Elliot Pototsky is a multimedia journalist at Rockford News First with a passion for sports and human-interest stories.

A former student at Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications, he has developed hands-on experience both in front of and behind the camera. He believes the most exciting part of the industry is producing and editing broadcast-ready content under tight deadlines.

​Elliot’s success in the industry stems from his creativity and versatility. Whether he’s interviewing someone, gathering camera footage, or narrating a piece of his work, he brings energy, curiosity, and a strong understanding of storytelling to every assignment.

​Outside of the newsroom, Elliot loves to both watch and play sports. He also likes to go out with his friends and spend time with his family back in his hometown of Sharon, Massachusetts.
